Dilemma Ternaard (Documentary,2024)
During my journalism studies, I made a documentary about gas extraction under the Wadden Sea for my Minor (CampusDoc). For the making of the documentary, I served as camera operator, cinematographer, editor and director. The documentary was broadcasted on NPO 2 on December 14 and 15, 2024, and is now available on NPO Start and Omrop Fryslan.
Tijdens mijn journalistieke opleiding heb ik voor mijn Minor (CampusDoc) een documentaire gemaakt over de gaswinning onder de Waddenzee. Voor het maken van de documentaire had ik de rol als camera operator, cinematograaf en regisseur. De documentaire is op 14 en 15 december 2024 uitgezonden op NPO 2 en is nu te zien op NPO Start en Omrop Fryslan.

For years, there has been a dilemma surrounding the small village of Ternaard: whether or not a gas extraction will take place there. Many villagers do not want it, but the Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM) is keen to have it there in order to drill for gas beneath the Wadden Sea.
Al jaren is er een dilemma rondom het kleine dorpje Ternaard, namelijk of er wel of niet een gaswinning komt. Veel dorpelingen zijn tegen, maar de Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM) wil het er graag hebben om gas te kunnen boren onder de Waddenzee.
We Zullen Doorgaan (Documentary,2026)
For this assignment, I had the opportunity to film the documentary We Zullen Doorgaan as cameraman and cinematographer.
Voor deze opdracht mocht ik als cameraman en cinematograaf de documentaire We Zullen Doorgaan filmen.

Toni and Jim have been protesting for a better world since the 1970s. And even at the age of seventy, they will continue to fight for the climate and against injustice.
Toni en Jim protesteren al sinds de jaren 70 voor een betere wereld. En ook op hun zeventigste zullen ze doorgaan om te strijden voor het klimaat en tegen onrecht.

For my graduation project, I made a mini-documentary about tiny houses. I did all the things by myself for this project.
Voor mijn afstudeerproject heb ik een mini-documentaire gemaakt over tiny houses. Voor deze documentaire heb ik zelf alle rollen vervuld.
Logline:
The residents on the Zwemmerslaan in Haarlem have been living happily in their tiny houses for years. However, their future is now uncertain because they will likely have to move for a new project at the location where the tiny houses currently stand.
De bewoners aan de Zwemmerslaan in Haarlem wonen al jaren gelukkig in hun tiny houses. Alleen is hun toekomst nu onzeker omdat ze waarschijnlijk weg moeten voor een nieuwe project op de locatie waar de tiny houses nu staan.
COMARE (Short Film,2021)
During my orientation year at the Open Studio, I made the thriller short film COMARE together with a creative team. I was the gaffer and editor for this film.
Tijdens mijn oriëntatiejaar op de Open Studio heb ik samen met een creatief team de thriller short film COMARE gemaakt. Hierbij had ik de rol als gaffer en editor.

Een bende lid wordt gevangen genomen en komt oog in oog te staan met zijn vijand.
